RedFrog's Ramblings (RedFrogND)

I've never had a blog, but plan on trying it out here on UL.  I will 'ramble' on about various things from my game experiences here on UL to my favorite sports team, the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux to my proud membership of the Raider Nation.  Drop in occasionally and check me out!

XBCF: TCU v Wisconsin(LegolElf) 10/6/2008 11:38:00 PM

Wisconsin looked to dismantle the Horned Frogs run defense and were relatively successful.  On the 4th play from scrimmage, PJ Hill would break a tackle and scamper 49 yards into the endzone to put the Badgers up early.

Not to be outdone, the Horned Frogs would march right down the field on 5 plays, scoring on a pass play from the 13.

Wisconsin would take the ball and march deep into Frogs territory before the TCU MLB would jump in front of a pass and return it 92 yards to pay dirt.  This play would be the Pontiac Game Changing Moment of the game.

TCU would pad their lead with a short FG midway through the 2nd quarter, only to be answered by Wisconsin and a 47 yard field goal with 27 ticks left in the half.  The Frogs would take a stab at the endzone with the remaining time and make good on their attempts.  Scoring from 43 yards out with 8 seconds to go, the Frogs lead 24-10.

The Frogs would pound out another TD on the ground on the 1st drive of the 2nd half, followed up by another pic6 by the defense.  Sconny would punch in another TD late in the 3rd, their final score of the day.

On a 15 play drive, the Horned Frogs would tally again, bringing the final score to 45-17.

LegolElf was fun to talk with during the game and took the bad breaks in stride.  A great opponent that was fun to play.  He has had a BRUTAL schedule up to this point, but I see him notching some big wins in the coming weeks.

The Horned Frogs would give up 119 yards on the ground, pushing them out of the top 10 defensively in that category.  However, a strong offensive showing on the ground (149yds) vaults them into the top 5.
