Sharko's Football Announcement

Many of you have been patiently waiting for the deciesion to be handed down. Will there be football this up coming season? Of coarse there will be... the NCAA doesn't lock out it's athletes. But what about the pros? What about the elites, the best of the best...the Lockout is on, the Lockout is off- no one knows. But today The Shark makes his decision, on his Lockout. His Madden Lockout. Since 2007 The Shark has not competively played EA's MADDEN NFL FOOTBALL. Since his days as a league commissioner , and two time, two time PPA Madden Champion himself, where Marco earned his Shark nickname, he has swore off the EA NFL football title due to its inferior game design and playability. He is now ready to announce his decision today- on whether or not he will go pro again. We go to the podium for VIP UL Owner Sharko Libre.
"As many of you don't know, I have been waying my options for the upcoming football seasons. NCAA and NFL. Madden and I go way back, as many of you do with Madden as well. I miss the passing windows on the top of the screen, the ambulance that runs you over when you get injured on the field. I miss the gameplay glitches of running a goal line defense all day, or having T.O. run fly routes and catch 70 TDs a season. And with those memories I would look more and more foward to the next season of Madden NFL Football. As commissioner to an inhouse PS2 Madden league I enjoyed the sportsmanship, heavy drinking, and crazy trades for first round picks. As the seasons went on and the changes to Madden occured the game became less of a draw for me. As our PPA (PlaystationPlayersAssociation) disbanded and middle of the week playstation drink fests ended, so did my passion for the game.
NCAA has always had a place in my heart. Bridging the game from off season to offseason, the dynasty modes, pagentry and love for the game, playing it the way it was meant to be played -it filled that void that the tweeks to Madden created. In comes the outstanding competition of the United Leagues. Some of the most sim players I have ever experienced that has humbled me as a player and thrilled me as a competitor. Although my current win percentage might lable me as a LOSER, my incomplete - defeated Gator season as a QUITER, I assure you my decision to play football this upcoming season will be to get either A) right back where I was as a two time, two time Madden Super Bowl winner. Or 2) A vengeful college coach looking to get into a bowl, break that top 25, and possibly shock the UL with my first Title!
Current economic times prevents me from committing to both season today. Truth be told- I don't think I will have the time, as I forsee a wild AL West comeback playoff push for the Oakland A's this fall in the XBBL. One thing is for sure, The Shark will be on the gridiron this fall. And that being said, its time for some scouting and spring practice, because I'm staying in school...avenging my 0-10 D2 season, and 0-6 Gator season in the Champions League to sign up and partake in my 3rd XBCF Season.
Season 1 was an experiement in UL. I drafted on the rankings provided by EA and was on the field with a Boston College squad that was over rated. Season 2 was a draft pick from the heart...and I understood the obsticles in front of a Kentucky Wildcat and almost was bowl eligible. Will season 3 be the year I draft Marshall so I can wear my khaki shorts, pratice my Matthew McConaughey accent and draft the Thundering Hurd because their mascot's name is Marco? No. I have already sent our advanced scouts to the campuses I've targeted, evaluating my draft status and looking forward to practice next month.
Does that mean I won't play Madden? No, I plan on watching the standings and possibly jumping in mid season to lead an orphaned team to the playoffs- but until then, its back to school for the Shark. I have much damage contol to do...its been a while since I've won a NCAA game here. And that's about to change.
