College Football Picks of the Week
10/2/2008 1:25:00 PM
I figure since I love sports betting so much, I may as well share with my fellow UL'ers my wagers, and we can see how I do.
So far in the season, I am 8-2 (4-0 picking A&M's opponent )
So without further ado, here are my picks of the week (All lines are according to BoDog as of 1pm central)
Hawaii (+23) @ Fresno St.
The Bulldogs offense is great and capable of putting up numbers, but their defense is lacking, and though Hawaii is a long ways from a Sugar Bowl last year, they will still keep it within three touchdowns to easily cover.
Oregon @ USC (-17)
Pete Carroll does not handle embarassment well, and I promise you USC will not let anything like last week happen again. Not to mention, USC has extra days rest since their last game was on a Thursday, and wouldn't worry about Malaluga being doubtful, in fact I may wait to bet this until the line goes down a couple points, which I expect it to do.
Texas A&M (+25) @ Oklahoma St.
I know, I know, sounds like I'm betting with my heart, and I have picked the Ags opponent the last four weeks and won why mess with a good thing? Well, 25 points is ridiculous considering all Oklahoma St. has done is beat 2nd class opposition. Not saying anything, since A&M couldn't beat said 2nd class opposition, BUT with the assignment of Jerrod Johnson as the undisputed starter I believe the Ags with cover.
There you have it, also as a bonus I would pick the Rays over the White Sox but I'm not betting it. Be back on Saturday night to see who here made money off of me. (Don't linch me if you actually lose off of my picks, it's your money do with it what you please)
