2008 - The Year I Changed My Life 12/12/2008 4:26:00 AM

Well, as some of you may have known, I got REAL serious into eating healthy and exercising religiously (5+ days a week) this year. My 2008 New Year's Resolution was to lose 30 lbs, which at the time I really didn't think was do-able in a year. My eating habits were horrible. I was eating fast food a minimum of five nights a week, snacking on god knows what, drinking soda throughout the day and then drinking a ton of beer on the weekends. I took drastic measures to change my diet and started hitting the gym five nights a week. Now it is practically a year later and not only did I lose those 30, but another 10 on top of that as well. I gotta say I'm really proud of myself and looking back, I'm amazed at how easy it was to do. The first month or so was tough, but once I got into a routine it was a piece of cake. Is it just me but since Dom lost the weight you dont see pics of him with all those girls. I guess you dont need them to make you feel better now LOL j/k man. On the real great jod dude. You inspire me to get back to the gym. Hell I should Im still paying them every month :(

I mean I started hitting the gym in the middle of Nov but I also dont the weight shit. I just have been trying to lose the fat and my man boobs. I am not looking to get ripped, jacked, and tan like my boy Brandon.

Too much hunk in this post for my taste...But great job Dom. PbdyShamRock, the best way to lose fat is to eat lean protein, increase calcium intake, mono-saturated fats only (think almonds, and guacamole), and to increase muscle mass through strenth training. Heave cardio is not recommended for initial fat burner because muscle is broken down before fat for energy reserves during periods of intense cardio...I went from 210 to 178 using a book called "THe Abs Diet"....Best of luck
